In the UK, it is almost essential to have some kind of mint condiment with a lamb dish. Now that I live in the US, I find lamb much harder to come by. But when I do pick up some lamb chops – I have to have something minty to go with it. This gremolata is perfect as it is SO easy to make. In fact it's so easy you hardly need a recipe card for this one! All you need is:

  • Lemon zest
  • Fresh mint
  • Garlic

How to Make Lamb Chops with Mint Gremolata

The quantities are really up to you – it's not as if there are many carbs in these ingredients! I zest the lemon with my fine blade Microplane which I *love* – it is the perfect tool for the job and always so sharp. Finely chop some mint and then either chop some fresh garlic or add a quick squeeze of garlic paste. Mix it all together – bearing in mind that the garlic is uncooked so adjust amounts according to your personal taste.Lamb Chops with Mint Gremolata - low carb recipe

Grill or broil the lamb chops then sprinkle the gremolata over the top to serve.
