Low Carb Green Beans with Lemon and Pepper

This side dish is super easy to prepare and goes well with chicken or fish.

  • 12 oz green beans cooked
  • 1 tbs butter
  • ½ lemon zest
  • ½ lemon juice
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • salt


  1. Melt the butter in a skillet. Add the beans, zest and juice.

  2. Grind black pepper over the beans and add a little salt. Cook until the beans are cooked through.

  3. Transfer the beans to a serving dish, and garnish it with slices of lemon or a little extra lemon zest.
