Step-by-Step Instructions
- Soak about 16 wooden skewers in water for 30 minutes and preheat the oven to 350F.
- On a large plate, combine some the sweetener, chipotle powder, and black pepper.
- Drain the skewers and poke one end through a slice of bacon. Wrap the bacon around the skewer in a tight spiral, and poke the other end of bacon through at the top.
- Lightly press the wrapped bacon into the chipotle mixture, then place it on a baking sheet lined with foil and a wire rack.
- Place the bacon skewers in the oven for 25-30 minutes, turning occasionally.
- Meanwhile, make a simple sour cream dip by combining sour cream, paprika, Worcestershire sauce and black pepper.
- Transfer the cooked bacon twists to a plate, and let cool for 5 minutes. Gently remove the skewers and discard, and transfer the bacon to a serving platter.
- Serve them with the sour cream dip.

Notes
5.2g net carbs per serving (approx. 4 whole bacon twists and a quarter of the dip)
Note: You can also cook the bacon under the broiler but watch carefully as it the bacon will burn easily in places and be undercooked in others.
Serving Tip: Cut the cooked bacon twists in half before serving for easier dipping!
