The other day was absolutely scorching hot, so my hubby and I wanted to make a colder, creamier version of a lemon drop. You almost feel like you’re drinking a boozy, lemon, milkshake with this one- so be careful, they are easy to drink!”
Doesn't it sound great? On doing a little more research I found two other lemon chiffon recipes, one with limoncello (VERY high carb), and one with white cacao liqueur (ditto). My version uses lemon juice, lemon zest, and lemon extract to get a fantastic flavor – with zero carb vodka as alcohol.
It's a wonderful low carb cocktail for the spring and summer!
How to Make a Keto Lemon Chiffon Cocktail
Add some ice to a cocktail shaker and use a Microplane or similar to grate some lemon zest into the shaker.
Next, add some vodka, heavy cream, and low carb simple syrup – check out my easy homemade recipe! I also like to add a splash of lemon extract but it is totally optional.
Juice half a lemon and add it to the shaker. Juice from a whole lemon contains just over 4g net carbs – which isn't too bad. But I want to keep it as low as possible – hence why I add the extract – for extra lemon flavor with none of the carbs!
Seal the shaker and shake well. Pour into two glasses and add fresh ice if desired.
Garnish with fresh lemon slices.

- Ice
- Grated zest from half a lemon
- 2 fl oz (4 tbs) vodka
- 2 fl oz (4 tbs) heavy cream
- 2 fl oz (4 tbs) sugar free simple syrup
- 1 tsp lemon extract, optional
- Juice from half a lemon
- Lemon slices, optional garnish
Instructions
- Add some ice to a cocktail shaker and sprinkle the lemon zest into the shaker.
- Next, add the vodka, heavy cream, simple syrup, and lemon extract (if using).
- Juice half a lemon and add it to the shaker.
- Seal the shaker and shake well.
- Pour into two glasses and add fresh ice if desired.
- Garnish with fresh lemon slices.
