Breakfast can be so tricky if you are following a low carb diet. This breakfast shake takes only a few minutes to make and is super filling!
Combine unsweetened almond milk, plain Greek yogurt, unsweetened cocoa powder, flaxseed meal (a great source of fiber!) and sweetener in a blender. I use Da Vinci sweetening syrup as it is zero carb but if you prefer a different sweetener than just add to taste. I have a Ninja blender and the single serve cup is perfect for this breakfast shake!
Blend until smooth, pour into a glass, and you’re good to go!
This recipe is very versatile as extra ingredients and flavorings can easily be added. How about some cinnamon? Peppermint essence?
