Bacon. Chipotle. Bacon. Chipotle. These are two of my favorite things! I have no idea why it has taken me so long to put the two together. But now I have, there's no going back!

How to Make Chipotle Bacon Twists
Soak about 16 12″ wooden skewers in water for 30 minutes.
On a large plate, combine some low carb sweetener (I used golden Lakanto), chipotle powder, and black pepper.
Drain the skewers and poke one end through a slice of bacon. Wrap the bacon around the skewer in a tight spiral, and poke the other end of bacon through at the top.
Lightly press the wrapped bacon into the chipotle mixture, then place it on a baking sheet lined with foil and a wire rack.
It's up to you whether you wrap all the bacon first, then season, or just do each skewer one at a time!
Place the bacon skewers in a preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, turning occasionally. Note: You can also cook the bacon under the broiler but watch carefully as it the bacon will burn easily in places and be undercooked in others. Either way, the smell is AMAZING!!!
Meanwhile, make a simple sour cream dip by combining sour cream, paprika, Worcestershire sauce and black pepper.
Transfer the cooked bacon twists to a plate, and let cool for 5 minutes. Gently remove the skewers and discard, and transfer the bacon to a serving platter.
Serve them with the sour cream dip for a spicy, creamy, smoky, and super tasty snack!
Update: I've made these bacon twists several times and on the last occasion a guest suggested that after cooking I cut them in half, making double the amount of shorter bacon twists – much better for dipping. I'll definitely try this next time!
