Honey and mustard is a fantastic combination, and although the mustard is naturally very low in carbohydrates, regular honey isn't! That's why I developed my own recipe – but if you don't have time to make it then I've also listed some great honey substitutes that you can buy.

How to Make Keto Honey Mustard Pork Chops

To make the marinade, whisk together your sugar-free honey of choice, Dijon mustard, wholegrain mustard, and soy sauce (or tamari for gluten free). Place bone-in pork chops into the marinade and turn to coat. Cover and leave in the fridge for at least 30 minutes.

Preheat a non-stick grill pan over a medium-high heat, season the pork with salt and pepper (don't discard the marinade!), and then cook the pork until done to your liking.

Let the pork rest for five minutes, and bring any remaining marinade to a boil. Serve the pork with the marinade drizzled over the top and chopped fresh parsley.

This dish would be great for a weeknight meal – it all comes together very quickly and the pork can marinate overnight if necessary. Serve it with a salad or your favorite low carb side dish.
