This low carb shake is as sweet and creamy as it looks! They key to the flavors are these two products:
Did you know you can get Cake Batter flavoring? Yes, it's completely artificial – it's not an extract – but there are actually many brands available – LorAnn Oils is another brand that I recommend. The sprinkles you may remember from my chocolate dipped marshmallows – another delicious low carb treat! You can buy Stoka Sprinkles from Netrition or you could also try the sprinkles from Good Dee's on Amazon – they're also good!
Oh and if you've ever enjoyed the Cake Batter Batter Batter Ice Cream from Cold Stone Creamery, this shake is like that frozen treat but in liquid form! Don't you just love copycat recipes?!?
How to Make Low Carb Cake Batter Shake
Add unsweetened almond milk (vanilla flavor or plain), heavy cream, cake batter flavoring, ice cubes and low carb syrup to a blender (this Ninja blender is the best)!
For the syrup, you could use my homemade low carb simple syrup, Lakanto syrup or Da Vinci sweetening syrup. My homemade recipe is quick and easy to make – perfect for cocktails, sweet sauces, and more!
Blend until smooth, then pour into a glass. Garnish with whipped cream (the squirty stuff out of a can is all you need!) and low carb sprinkles. Don't the sprinkles look pretty?
As you can see I've only made this recipe to serve one (mine, all mine!!) – but it would be super easy to increase the yield if you wanted to.
