It's time to get crafty with this spooky ghost milkshake! I cut out shapes of black Contact paper to make the ghost – it's super quick and easy. You could look at some pictures online if you need inspiration for face shapes. T
he contact paper is easy to remove after you've finished the drink, so won't damage it at all. You could also use a black glass marker!
In the recipe I've made it just a single serve – but obviously it would be super easy to make a whole collection of these ghost drinks! If you try it please send me a photo!
How to Make a Low Carb Ghost Milkshake
Prepare the glass in advance by cutting out the ghost's features from black Contact paper.
In a blender, mix together unsweetened almond milk (I used the vanilla flavor), heavy cream, vanilla extract, ice cubes and a liquid sweetener.
You could make a homemade one like my low carb simple syrup, or try something like the maple syrup from Lakanto – use coupon code “SAFTC” to get 20% off everything in the Lakanto store!!!
You could also use liquid stevia, but only add a few drops at a time until the desired sweetness has been reached.
Blend until smooth, then pour into the prepared glass. Add extra ice if desired.
Garnish with whipped cream (the stuff out of a can is fine or you can make your own) and serve with a black straw.
This drink isn't just for kids – adults will love it too! Check out all my low carb Halloween recipes!
