This dessert is definitely one for special occasions! The combination of chocolate and brandy go so well together, it has to be tried! The mousse isn’t particularly sweet, so feel free to add more sweetener if you prefer, and adjust the nutritional data accordingly.
Melt some unsweetened chocolate and heavy cream together in a saucepan over a low heat. Stir until the chocolate has fully melted. Pour into a bowl, add the brandy and beat with a hand mixer until thick and smooth.
In a separate bowl, whisk an egg white, preferred low carb sweetener (I use xylitol) and cream of tartar until stiff peaks form. Carefully fold the egg mixture into the chocolate mixture. It looks so good!!
