This is SUCH an awesome cocktail for the fall! It has the perfect blend of autumnal ingredients like maple and cinnamon – and is so easy to make! Like any martini, it's a pretty strong concoction, so you should probably limit yourself to just one!
For this recipe you WILL need a special ingredient – a low carb maple syrup. My preferred choice is the ChocZero Maple Vanilla Syrup – you can buy it from Amazon or Netrition. It is SUPER thick and has an amazing flavor! It's 1g net carbs per serving of one tablespoon. You could also try the Maple Syrup from Lakanto – it's sweetened with a combination of monkfruit and erythritol, and only contains 1g net carb per serving of two tablespoons. Use coupon code “SAFTC” to get 20% off everything in the Lakanto store!!!
Either will work well – and you'll find so many other uses for whichever syrup you buy – like my Low Carb Maple Nut Pralines or my recipe for Soft Boiled Egg with Candied Bacon Dippers!
How to Make a Low Carb Creamy Mapletini
Prepare the glass first. On a small plate, combine low carb granular sweetener (Lakanto is my go-to sweetener – no aftertaste!) and ground cinnamon.
Grab the low carb maple syrup as mentioned above, and pour a little onto a paper towel. Wipe it around the rim of a martini glass. Then place the inverted glass into the cinnamon mixture, carefully turning it to ensure the whole rim is coated.
To make the cocktail, add heavy cream, vodka, and the maple syrup to a cocktail shaker.
Shake well, then pour over ice into the prepared glass. Garnish with a cinnamon stick.
What a wonderful autumnal cocktail!
