This low carb recipe is so simple – and yet it transforms the humble chicken breast into something SO good! It's perfect for weeknight meals, because it can be prepared so quickly!
So you might not be able to *see* the sour cream, but you'll definitely benefit from it! It's acting like a seasoned “glue” for the coating, which is made from pork rind crumbs! I'm a huge fan of these Seasoned Pork Rind Crumbs – they're SUPER convenient! But you can absolutely make your own by crushing up regular pork rinds as finely as you can. Check out all these low carb ways that you can use pork rinds!
How to Make Keto Sour Cream Chicken
Mix together the sour cream, paprika, thyme, and seasoning.
Place two chicken breasts on a small baking sheet and spread the sour cream mixture over the top. Sprinkle the pork rind crumbs over the sour cream.
Is sour cream keto friendly?
A tablespoon of sour cream contains 0.3g net carbs, so it's definitely acceptable to have sour cream on keto! You could also try my Low Carb Sour Cream and Chive Dip or Chipotle Bacon Twists with Sour Cream Dip!
As you can see, my last two recipes that significantly used sour cream have been dips – so I really enjoyed incorporating it into this easy low carb chicken recipe!
