How to Make Low Carb Turkey Chili

Heat the oil in a large skillet. Add the turkey, onion powder, and garlic paste. Cook until the turkey is browned all over. Add a diced red bell pepper, paprika, ground cumin, dried oregano, cayenne, and a can of diced tomatoes (I use petite diced).

Bring to a boil then lower it to a simmer. Cover and continue to cook for 20 minutes. Test for seasoning and add salt and pepper as required. You can even add more cayenne or hot sauce if you think it is needed!

This low carb turkey chili is a wonderfully healthy meal that everyone will enjoy - especially when you add some delicious toppings like avocado, cheese, and sour cream!

Ingredients

  • 1 tbs olive oil
  • 1 lb ground turkey
  • 1 tso onion powder
  • 1 tsp garlic paste
  • 1 red bell pepper, chopped
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1 tsp ground cumin
  • 1 tsp dried oregano
  • ¼-½ tsp cayenne, or to taste
  • 15.5 oz canned diced tomatoes
  • salt and black pepper
  • fresh cilantro, shredded cheese, avocado, sour cream or jalapeno slices, optional

Instructions
