This wreath is super easy to make, pretty to look at, and delicious to eat! It would be ideal as part of a selection of appetizers at a Christmas meal, or on a buffet table at a Christmas party or gathering! It's vegetarian too, which is a bonus, and people will feel good about eating some healthy veggies at this time of year!
The platter I've used here is from Le Creuset – it's actually quite clever because there's a round cheese board insert that sits inside the middle circle, making it super versatile. But I can't find it on Amazon or on their own website which is a shame! Here's one similar on Amazon that would be a good alternative.

How to Make a Christmas Wreath Appetizer
Start by loading up baby spinach leaves on the platter. I prefer to break off and discard any stalks for a prettier presentation.
Next, add some small broccoli florets.
Then add some cherry tomatoes (I used red but you could also use yellow, orange, or a mixture), and mini mozzarella balls (I like the pearls).
Finish with a “bow” fashioned from fresh basil leaves – you'll need two large long ones, two large squarer ones, and one small leaf.
Add a dipping sauce to the center of the wreath, and serve.
I actually used this G Hughes Salad Dressing which I love – and was thick enough to work well as a dip. Or you could make your own – my sour cream and chive dip or low carb honey mustard sauce would be ideal!
Enjoy this pretty and healthy edible wreath!
